Benny Grotto is a co-owner of Mad Oak Recording Studios, as well as its head engineer and house producer.  He’s the 2010 recipient -- and 2011 thru 2014 nominee -- of the prestigious Boston Music Award for Producer of the Year, and a beta tester for Izotope, Inc. audio software.

He's a session drummer and multi- instrumentalist, the drummer for legendary Boston hardcore band Slapshot, and an official artist/endorser for SJC Custom Drums, Snareweight Drum Dampening Systems, and Reverend guitars & basses.

He's also the founder and owner of Angry Acorn, LLC., the Boston-area's sole dealer of the full range of Reverend and Snareweight music products.

Benny is available for hire as a producer, recordist, and mix engineer in the studio or on-location, and as a session musician for both live and recording dates.
